New Podcast Episodes: Supporting Parents & Professionals During COVID-19
We've just released three new podcast episodes to help parents and NICU professionals cope with the COVID-19 crisis.
On NICU Now, our counselor on staff, Lexi Losch, talks about the emotions most commonly experienced in the NICU, how parents can process these emotions in a healthy way, and how to manage stress during the COVID-19 crisis. Listen to episode 27: Processing Emotions During COVID-19.
During National Volunteer Week, we wanted to take the opportunity to thank all of our volunteer peer mentors and our community volunteers. If you're ready to pay it forward, join our volunteer team today!
While we've suspended all in-person volunteer activities, we have an easy way you can pay it forward by making no-sew scent cloths for NICU families, with just a few materials!
Have you joined a virtual support group yet? Groups are offered Monday through Friday, with meetings available for parents in the NICU, NICU-graduate parents and Spanish-speaking parents.
"Hand to Hold was always checking in and reaching out to ensure I was okay. They offered me more than anything our healthcare could offer or had to offer!"
